As a high school band teacher, the search for recordings of jazz standards seems to be a never ending quest.   Innocent enough in the beginning, the quest started with the desire to have recordings of great jazz artists for young students to hear what the music originally sounded like.  The library built up over the years and culling became an inevitable job.  Many of the records listed on our website are the result of batch buying sprees, when it was easier to buy the entire collection and sort out the "un-jazz" titles later!

As a consequence, our website features a wide variety of music genres.  Our hope is that there is something here for everyone.
